How to Get a Unique Wedding Video

It’s the thing you have been dreaming about since kindergarten. You have all the wedding magazines and you’ve watched the reality TV shows about buying the right dresses and brides who lost their temper every few minutes up until the very moment at the altar. Everyone wants to make their special day, well, special, and long after the guests have filed out the door, and the honeymoon has faded, you want the pictures to tell even the parts of the story you can no longer remember or never noticed. That’s why it’s so important to choose the right photographer and, possibly, even consider using a photographer who is experienced in operating a drone for the most specific and candid type photos of your wedding.

Selecting the location – Think of the places you love to go, the places that always bring you peace and comfort and the places where you find that love is the first thing to come to mind. Think of the places that are “your own”, unique to you and to your future spouse. Where did you have your first kiss? Where did you meet, or where did you first set eyes on your sweetheart? Where do you like to go out to eat, vacation, or relax? Thinking about these places will help you decide where to send your photographer for ideas. Additionally, if your favorite place happens to be a hike in the deep woods, or a long walk on the beach, you can have your wedding photos taken here, as well, and a drone can do this. Consider having engagement pictures taken here and then, retaken there on the day of your wedding. Location, location, location. This will make all the difference in creating unique wedding day photos.

Try to make them different – In addition to finding a unique location, think of all the hundreds of wedding photos you’ve seen from everywhere else and do the opposite. If you usually see them in the church, or house of worship, unless these places are institutions that have a deep meaning to you, or they are where you spend at least one day a week, consider having your photos taken at an arboretum or in a farmer’s field. Aerial photos of these locations, using drone photography, can create stunning images for a wedding not soon to be forgotten. Additionally, your drone photography can include videography as well, and the entire ceremony can be, both, filmed and photograph.

Choose an awesome photographer – If you want your wedding images to be unique and beautiful, you simply cannot hire a traditional photographer. You need to find someone who is willing to think out of the box and take risks that other wedding photographers will not. Consider using a photographer who is well versed in utilizing drone photography or videography.

Think of Budget and remember that this is for you and not anyone else – Also, think of your budget and time constraints. If you can’t afford it, you can’t do it. So, hire someone who understands your budgets, and check out sites like Angie’s List, the Better Business Bureau, and the Yellow Pages to find reviews and comments that will help you in making a great decision about your drone wedding photographer.

It’s your wedding, and you want it to be unique. You want the photos to last and make a statement. A drone photographer can make this happen.
